Scout on the ancient lanes to be directed to Mattancherry palace which was scrupulously built in traditional Kerala architecture by the Portuguese as a gift to the king to win him hearts in exchange of the favor of establishing trading relation. From intriguing collection of mural painting to antique royal regalia, the palace has a tale of heritage to unfold. Take a whiff of the spices in the spice market and you would be captivated by its aroma and pristine flavors. ​
