Rajasthan holiday with family / My children along with their partners came to India to celebrate my husband's birthday in early October. Rohit at Safe Hands arranged our 5 day trip to Rajasthan. Every single part of our holiday including a luxury temp traveller, hotels and itinerary was meticulously put together by Rohit. The transport was outstanding and the hotels were delightful. I will absolutely use Safe Hands again and will recommend Rohit to all my friends and family.

Even from my earliest interactions with Rohit in the planning stages of our trip, I could tell this was no ordinary travel company. He was so easy to work with. All our concerns were quickly and carefully addressed. I felt comfortable taking his recommendations because it became obvious he knew what he was talking about. Then when we got to India, everything went like clockwork. We were in India for a wedding. Afterward, Deepak, our first tour guide, showed up in our hotel lobby and introduced himself, then introduced our driver, Kuber. Deepak is a warm, caring soul. He was always anticipating our needs and ever engaging in informative conversation. It was especially wonderful to have the same driver (Kuber) and car throughout this trip. It was nice to have someone familiar with us all the time as we encountered strange new surroundings each day. Each morning after breakfast, Kuber was always there for us, greeting us with a smile. He easily became a friend. He daily kept a cooler supplied with snacks and beverages. And fresh ice each morning! Kuber was our interface with Rohit and the various tour guides so that things went smoothly throughout the trip. And with Kuber's experienced hands at the wheel, we always felt safe. Shashank, our tour guide in Nainital, was a treasure trove of information. During our trek up Naina mountain, he carefully monitored each of us and set the pace accordingly. We particularly appreciated his knowledge of the medicinal plants of the region. Kush, our tour guide in Agra and Jaipur, had a way of bringing history to life through the various structures we viewed. He has obviously absorbed a vast amount of historical information over the years, and he has a gift for presenting it in a compelling and succinct manner. Everyone we encountered associated with Safehands Travels was proficient in English, which was important for us. Also, it was obvious that every one of them loved the work they were doing and had a passion for it. The company's culture of making guest travelers feel safe and cared for was strongly displayed by each member of the Safehands team. If you haven't guessed by now, we love this team and will definitely be contacting them again if our travels ever bring us back to India (hopefully!).

I’ve had the great experienced in india. I’m extremely happy with the way it was organized. Everything that Mr. Rohit offered me in the proposal was provided exactly. It was an excellent planning! Hotel check-ins were smooth and the tour guides were extremely cordial and have good knowledge on those locations I visited. The driver was always punctual and drove an excellent manner making long drives very pleasant and safe. No complains at all! I was indeed in safe hands!!! Thank you safehand travel!!

We are a retired french couple , 72 old. My wife (sore back) do not enjoy the pot holes of India roads and especially of Madhya Pradesh. So we asked Safehands travel to organize a tour with minimum car transfer and with main distant travel by train. Mr Rohit did understand perfectly our desiderata and could provide all the logistics. So from Aurangabad (Ajanta, Ellora) to Bhopal, Sanchi, Mandu, Ujjain, Gwalior, Orchha and Khajuraho all went smoothly. Mr Rohit was always reactive and within one or two hours or instantly he could answer and correct any difficulty. For example( that was probably the only "bug") at arrival in Gwalior there was no driver at train station, because train was 40 minutes early (Yes this happens in India), as it was raining we just took , without waiting, a tuk-tuk to the hotel. We received apology of the receiving car agency and refund of Tuk-Tuk Mr Rohit was informed within one hour and provided us for a full day tour with the car and driver of Gwalior as an added gratuity. All hotels were well chosen and comfortable, and in a few case we asked for a change either to get either better view or situation or a more Heritage style. This was always done efficiently by Mr Rohit . We also changed one train ticket. And in Sanchi we had not undrestood that the very nice hotel was far from the stupas, we asked for another day with driver and this was made possible in the next hour. Mr Rohit always reacted within one hour. He was constantly asking for our satisfaction. As I am a rather difficult client , with sometimes too much attention for all details, I feel free to say that service was top class, which is clearly not evident in India as most drivers speak little or no english and, as we experimented with using Ola car service in Gwalior, most do not read english and are unable to fully use their GPS. We also appreciated that in most train travel we were in company with the driver until we were safely in our seats. Conditions for advance payments were also satisfying and Mr Rohit accepted a modification in order that we did feel quiet with the calendar. I highly recommend using SafeHands Travel and contracting with Mr Rohit especially if you want a tour which is adapted to your wishes. I also advice that you get an Indian Sim card for your mobile phone, this will provide you with instant feedback with Mr Rohit.

Safe hands is not just a travel agency ... it's a house away from home ... with her, I always had this feeling and I still have it! Rohit is not just a partner, but a very responsible person who does not just do it as a job, but engages in relationships with people. For me, India means Rohit and Safe Hands.

Safehands organised a bespoke 12 day adventure for me to Rajasthan recently. Kush (my guide) and the driver were wonderful, I felt very safe which is so important for a solo female traveller. Great care and attention were taken with the details of the journey, with quick response to any questions. Tried amazing food away from the hotels in the full confidence that Kush would choose well. Travelled to villages off the beaten track, all adding to the wonderful experience of Rajasthan. From a camel ride across the desert to watch the sunset to the magnificent Mehrangarh Fort, an experience I will never forget. Kush made my adventure complete with his vast knowledge, great sense of humour and patience. His enthusiasm and love for India and the desire to share his knowledge with others is endless. We pretty much covered most areas except Zanskar region. We enjoyed the trip and the scenery in many places is spectacular. It is such an unspoilt and clean environment (once you leave Leh) so different from most of India that one almost forgets that this is part of India. We enjoyed the interaction with local people in the remote areas, learned a lot about their lives and have many good memories and photographs from the trip. Rohit and his team were quite thorough and detailed in the planning. The itinerary was well planned to ensure we allowed time to acclimatise to the high altitude. We did not experience any major issues with high altitude although we did carry the oxygen cylinder, which we would highly recommend as some of the places are extremely remote with minimal medical facilities eg Tsomoriri lake. A suggestion for future travellers would be to provide some pre-trip information to help plan the trip better eg: the quality of hotels and services (they are in general quite basic), the trip and terrain is rugged, it can be very cold at night in May and there is limited electricity in most places outside Leh, phone reception / internet outside Leh poor with the exception of BSNL and Airtel. We had a guide, which we found was extremely useful as he was able to ensure we had experiences, at Monasteries and with local people, that we would have otherwise not had. It is expensive but was worth every cent. We had an issue with the quality of the hotel in Pangong (Pangong Inn - avoid). We moved to another accomodation. Rohit was very helpful in ensuring that we did not have a similar experience in Tsomoriri lake and gave us a few options to pick from after seeing each place. Mr Rohit was our contact person, responsive & friendly. You pay 50% upon booking and balance on the first day of the tour. Our Driver is patient, friendly & helpful but lacks in English (however we manage to get our message through). More important - he drives steady & safely. We do recommend
