01 Arrival Kolkata

Namaste! Welcome to Kolkata!
Upon arrival at Kolkata international airport, SafeHands Travels representative will assist you at arrival lounge and accompany you to hotel.

02 Kolkata – Bagdogra (Morning Flight) - Gangtok (Drive 120 Km / 04 Hrs)

Early morning check-out and drive to Kolkata airport to board flight for Bagdogra.
Upon arrival at Bagdogra airport, our representative will assist you at arrival lounge and introduce you with your chauffer. There after you will drive to Gangtok, the capital of Sikkim, is one of the most popular hill stations in India. Lying at the height of 1750 m above sea level, the town during its bright sunny days offers spectacular views of Mt. Kanchenjunga. Gangtok is a base for adventure enthusiasts comprising of trekkers and campers to the Himalayan Mountain ranges. During the months of March to Mid-May, blooming of wild Rhododendrons transform the surrounding regions in vast fields of colourful carpets.
On arrival transfer to hotel.
Evening visit to local market.
Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel.

03 In Gangtok

After Breakfast Sightseeing in Gangtok visiting Do Drul Chorten, built to commemorate the victory of good over evil and the Jhang Chub Chorten, built in the memory of Thrukshik Rinpoche, an ardent devotee, a great spiritualist and interpreter of Buddhism. Next will HANUMAN TOK. This immaculate and a divine place located in the upper reaches of Gangtok, Hanuman Tok is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, the Hindu monkey God.
Note: Guests have to climb stairs to reach the top where the temple is perched.
Thereafter will proceed for visit Directorate Of Handloom and Handicrafts & Namgyal Institute Of Tibetology & Flower Exhibition Centre.
In the last will proceed for CABLE CAR ROPEWAY – (If time Permits)Dinner & Overnight stay at hotel

04 Gangtok – Darjeeling (Drive 90 Km / 4 Hrs)

Morning post breakfast you will proceed for visit Rumtek Monastery 
Later drive to Darjeeling, standing high in the Himalayas at an altitude of 2134m, ‘Dorje Ling’, or place of the Thunderbolt, offers breathtaking views of snow-capped mountain peaks, with the Kanchendzonga rising higher than all the others. Often referred to as the “Queen of the Hills”, it remains just as alluring with its tiny waterfalls, little villages and a narrow gauge railway track. Surrounded by World Famous Tea Gardens and snow capped mountains, Darjeeling remains one of the most exotic destinations. Graeme Westlake in his book ‘ An introduction to hill stations on India’ refers to Darjeeling as having “A view Scarcely Unrivalled on Earth”.

05 In Darjeeling

Early morning visit Tiger Hill for sunrise and back.
Tiger Hill :- It is 13 kms from Darjeeling and one can see beautiful sunrise and Himalayan Range like Kanchendzonga , Mount Everest etc. One can see the horizon changing colors just before sunrise and then the entire Himalayan range turn golden. It is truly a majestic sight. Breakfast at the hotel and go for Enjoy toy train ride uptoGhoom then visit Ghoom Monastery & back by Innova(Subject to operation of this train & availability of the seats)TOY TRAIN The spectacular landscape unfolds as the 2-foot gauge Darjeeling Himalayan railway, opened in 1881, labours at about 10 mph criss-crossing the road. It has tiny 4-wheel locomotives (some over 100 years old) like living legends. One can experience the sound, smell and romance of a bygone era. DHR is a work of genius and technological achievement of 1881. It has social and cultural importance. It is beautiful and has outstanding universal appeal. Based on its unique features, it is considered to be of lasting significance to mankind.  Ghoom Monastery:- This is oldest Monastery in the area which was built in 1875 and one can see the image of Mythey Buddha 15ft. height on the way back from Tiger Hill

06 Darjeeling – Bagdogra (Drive 70 Kms – 03 Hrs) – Kolkata (Flight)

Morning post breakfast you will drive to Bagdogra airport to board flight for Kolkata.
Upon arrival at Kolkata international airport, SafeHands Travels representative will assist you at arrival lounge and accompany you to hotel.
Check in at the hotel.

07 Kolkata Sightseeing and Departure

Morning post breakfast you will proceed for sightseeing from “Howrah Bridge”, the life of Howrah bridge is very live, the rising sun on the backdrop of the bridge is one which photographers wouldn’t miss to capture and there are various points to get some good photos. This is also Eastern India’s largest Flower Market and the striking colours of the wide variety of flowers are just amazing, from here will move on to see the Posta Bazar, the wholesale market for edible oil, salt, cereals, spices, food grains, sugar ,etc.
Next we will proceed to Kalighat, the Kali Mandir is a famous Hindu Temple in Kolkata, the People from all over the country visit the temple to seek the blessings of Maa Kali
